Tradition and heritage
When we were choosing the name, we tried to make it a word that would contain everything that is the idea of our brand, so the word "Village" was chosen.
An African proverb tells us that it takes a village to raise a child and it really is, and we want to create a community of hardworking and creative people through this brand who will create a wardrobe woven with many values that every parent would pass on to their child!
What is an inexhaustible source of inspiration for us is the traditional Serbian wardrobe, i.e. folk costumes, which are decorated with the most luxurious hand-made embroidery and lace. In order to try to bring these techniques closer to children, we have incorporated some of the skills of handwork, embroidery, crocheting and knitting into our products. In this way, we employed the skilled hands of many creative people who, above all, love these crafts and thanks to whom they continue to exist.
